i respect you giving a certain type of feedback (i've seen like 5 nitpicks/opinions on design from ya) - which is totally valid, no questions asked. but please dont say stuff like this

- it's discouraging when you have someone simply say "please no" after you provide something you spent your free time on for others to enjoy :(

I agree, I mostly comment on design, since that is what I like most about a map, I just don't like Destoros's maping, and idk why

the design on this map did extramly basic very well tho, and the backround color and the color of the mountain in the back, I really like that

destoros always had a heartwarming kind of design style to me :p

at this point I should only comment on design, we have other good testers for gameplay

Glad you liked it 🙂 I removed the markings for the double bounce laser and the stoppers in the last picture but I want the outside to be accessible and did not shut off the end. Tele To 12 is used for some cool movement outside the map.

I also rather have the off switches marked, dont want to obscure crucial game tiles

Ok i looked at map and what i notice. Ur map at all is so raw and not smooth, but idea is uniq and good. so here is my explain. I think u take too much complex map, try something more simple without specials tiles. U dont have enough experience with mapping. I decide it because u cant even map this regular swing well.


1 useless special tiles 2 bad swing|| its bad cus u need hook > side of tile.||

so here is my advice. 1 drop this map until u take more experience with mapping 2 u skip some basic steps which one u can learn it if u try create more simple map. ||U cant create brutal map if u cant create novice map ©|| gl man)

also what are you referring to when you say "special tiles" ? when you mean the switches its a mechanic which imo is really fun and works really good with the way he incoorperated it

sorry i havent tested the map myself, but where in your feedback do you say this? from your message it just says "bad swing", thats not very informative is it? maybe its your feedback that is "raw" rather than the swing 😄 👍

I actually agree with triki on one thing, I don't like destoros mapping style, I couldn't really point out why before now, but now I think I got it, what triki said is somewhat close "I think u take too much complex map, try something more simple without specials tiles. " however, even though I kind of agree with triki, this still isn't grounds for critizisum since its just opinion, Destoros maps well, just not in the style I like
also, this guy has beeen releasing maps since before ddnet was a thing and his maps are some of the frist to get released on ddnet, so yes, he has experience


I dont know man triki, your advice kind of triggers me and not for the first time. It seems to me you really dont know how to get your point across without sounding rude or condescending. Also, most of the times your input is not thought through at all and I start shaking my head left and right in disbelief when I read your messages, from my experience at least. At this point I rather have you not give any feedback on my maps anymore.

Yeah I haven been around for quite a while and I like intricately designed maps. Something innovative or a twist on an idea, something where the path forward is not super obvious. Stuff like that is what keeps me enjoy mapping 🙂

- fixed the freeze
- removed the shield at cp3 since I found no way to cheat the part with laser
- aligned flags with cps where it was reasonable
- made cp1 a little easier by moving the vertical freeze line 1 tile to the left
- removed unnecessary cp2
- kept the filler for now, maybe Ill put something more interesting there in the future

Sorry man if i was rude i dont want, i just wanna help. im really sorry again. ye i see u have 25 maps and some of them I really love. im surprised. but it didn't change my mind about this map. i still dont like it.
I am really bad at giving feedback in a message, most of the time I give it on voice. but im learning, sorry again if i rude im not native eng. give me last chance i try to explain more detail maybe u understand what i mean and change ur mind about my feedback... or no.
1 i think at all use like this buttons is bad idea. most ppl play in entities and its hard to understand. this one side freeze doesn't fit well ddnet
especially if u can ez replace it by frezze+unfrezze in some place ||ye i know "freeze+unfrezze" realease hook but it's can solved with good placing||


2 this map so hard punish for better play. If u have better speed, longer hook and etc, most time u will fail. For example if player can move at this speed here u need keep it in mind and give space for this speed. or dont give this speed. Its so annoying to do parts slower then u can.


i also noticed some timing and precision(tolerance) problems. i'm really tired of writing. if u want i can show in game with voice.

The mechanic works entirely as intended with textures on so I dont get the fuss about buttons

(+ not only does it look clean in design, but it will also look cringe with unfreeze idea when you randomly freeze for a moment)

i agree with this too but its not THAT awkward and i dont think its something bad imo. parts are cool and it didnt feel awkward when i was finishing the map for 2nd time unlike some other maps with awkward parts
