OK, so this map includes 90% gores, shouldn't be on DDNet with 10% of DDRace parts (and yes, dragging a deeped tee through gores parts is still gores for me, they even got a server for this on KoG), the map is clearly unbalanced from my sight, the gores parts are way too hard and some are also way harder than other ones, the actual DDRace parts are super uncreative, unplayable and don't flow well in any way, the Gores parts don't flow well in my opinion too and are not creative (but I am not a KoG tester).
The map also has an "insta-rq" start, you get to do a weird and faily part, followed by an unfaily pretty hard part that is also hard to figure out, the whole map turns out bad for me (except for the swings), sorry..

So... You dont drag the dummy through the map all the time? (DDRace Drag Dummy Race) Mby we as a community defined ddrace as smth different nowadays but simplification of DDRace is to drag a dummy. Isnt the map about to drag the dummy arround or am i complete wrong about my POV?
Well I agree with Freezestyler cuz it's 90% dragging your dummy through a gores and it doesn't fit well to the ddrace parts the parts are way to long

i dont think its fair to destroy this maps ratings just because u dont like gores oO im not fan of gores either but come on 2 creativity.. u shouldnt put subjective tastes into the judgement imo the map shouldnt be released (even if it reaches enough points) because its way too much gores but that doesnt mean we cant rate it objectively

we released gores maps in the past but we also denied some because "gores belongs more to kog than ddnet" so thats not even an argument
for me this map is much more like freezestyler said a gores-dummy-drag (which they have a category for) than a "ddrace-dummy" map
I never declined a gores map with that reason. if one was declined, then because it didn’t meet ddnet‘s standards. so I told them to try at kog since their standards are differently. I suppose if this gets the required ratings, it meets our standards ☝️
Yes, imo ddrace combines all mods so technically everything could get released

Technically if everything had in the middle a hookthrough tile to seperate the player from the dummy would it still be gores if the failiness stood the same?

I think you shouldn’t care so much about what ddrace as a name refers to. and I don’t think it originates to gores elements

Well then if we are judging this as a gores map, good gores maps are not just straight tunnels with some holes, and that's exactly what the bigger portion of this map is.

So you are saying that since its just straight line everybody can manouver with good movement, good accurcy and controll of hook throught the hole map with closed eyes? I agree with you on that this doesnt seem to be a good gores map but like@Rische
there are good gores map which test your skill.

Well straight tunnels as gores maps may flow well but it's not interesting at all
I wouldn't say going straight all the time is good flow
and just having tunnels attached in 90 degrees angle is also not well structured
If you just swing across straight tunnels and across bends it flows better than having to avoid obstacles but thats not what gores is about
I guess you can place obstacles in a way that makes it flow well
sure you can but then you are still not making straight rectangular tunnels
placing random obstacles in tunnels is also not a good way to make gores
if you treat this as a gores map, judge it as one

I really do not like the beginning of the map, the first gores drag in 1 tile is very gay IMO and the part that goes after it are too hard, I wanted to rq while trying to finish this part, but after that, in general, i liked the map, except when you take a grenade and you need comeback to your dummy , there too much awkward faily parts while u coming back to ur dummy
